After a summer of driving headaches, some good news on Friday for drivers on upper Peach.
The construction at Peach and Interstate 90 is expected to wrap-up by the middle of next week, which means traffic patterns between Keystone Drive to Robison Road will return to normal.
The project has been underway since March. PennDOT says the clean up is coming just in time for the holiday shopping traffic.
"We wanted to make sure we had unrestricted traffic for over the Christmas shopping season," said Jim Carroll of PennDOT. "Its coming to the end of the construction season, so we wanted to make sure all the restrictions and closures were done."
Work is expected to start again in the spring.
