TOLEDO, Ohio -
The Leonid meteor shower peaks this weekend. While scientists are not predicting a massive display they warn that the shower could bring a few fireballs. About 15 meteors per hour are expected Saturday night into early Sunday morning. A few shooting stars are still possible on Sunday night as well. Meteors can be visible at anytime after the sun goes down but 3 to 4am Sunday morning will bring the best chance of seeing a meteor. The moonlight will be limited which is great news as well. The moon will set around 10:30pm which will leave a very dark sky. The best locations to view the meteor shower will be away from the city lights.
