Santa Claus Comes to Town

It was Christmas at the Millcreek Mall today, and the guest of honor was Father Christmas himself.

Santa ditched his sleigh and rode in on an ATV to meet dozens of excited children at the mall.

While they waited, Lilly Broadcasting provided some entertainment. There was story time with meteorologist Rob Wilson, and even a performance of favorite holiday carols, by anchor Lauren Adams.

Once Santa arrived though, it was all about the wish lists. He gave us an exclusive interview, saying he loves coming to Erie because of the welcoming nature of the people.

"I enjoy all the kids, you know the smiles on their faces are what make Christmas," he said, adding a jolly "Ho ho ho!"

If you missed him today, he'll be stopping by the Millcreek Mall from now until Christmas Eve.
