Erie's Finest Raise Funds to Fight Cystic Fibrosis

Posted: Updated:

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation hosted the 2nd Annual Erie's Finest Finale at the Bel Aire Hotel.  The prestigious event pays tribute to a group of Erie's up and coming business professionals, each of whom helped to raise funds to find a cure for the disease.

Beth Haaf from the sales department at Lilly Broadcasting was among the top honorees recognized for her fund raising efforts.  Each professional was required to raise at least $2,500 for the cause.  The six Erie's Finest honored at the finale topped that amount.

Tickets for the benefit and a silent auction also raised funds for the cause.  Organizers say they came close to the goal of raising $45,000.  The money will be used to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in its effort to find new therapies and ultimately a cure, and to improve the lives of those living with CF.
