TOLEDO, Ohio -
A very light easterly wind pushed developing fog and moisture from Lake Erie into northern Ohio and southern Michigan early Sunday morning. The result was a dense layer of fog. In some areas freezing fog was a concern as temperatures dropped between 28 and 32 degrees. Elevated objects had a very thin layer of ice accumulation due to the freezing fog. Visibilities reached near zero in Monroe, Point Place, Sylvania, Hillsdale, Adrian and Archbold at times before dawn. The fog wasn't nearly as dense further south. The visibility in Findlay by comparison was above 2 miles most of the night.
