Fog delays 16 local schools, closes 1

ERIE, Michigan -

This morning's dense fog was thickest in southeast Michigan, where visibility was near zero in many locations. 16 schools in the 13abc viewing area, just north of the state line, had delayed openings this Monday morning. One school used a calamity day and will not open until Tuesday. Dense fog was a problem around 2-4 AM in Toledo, but conditions began to improve before sunrise in and around Lucas County.
