A local theater is helping out homeless children, as we head into the holidays.
"All an Act" holds a benefit performance this Saturday, November 24th at 7:30 p.m., where all the money from ticket sales will go to Community Shelter Services.
This years play is a British comedy called "Two into One".
Throughout the year, the theater donates a dollar from every ticket sold to the shelter, but at this time of year, the need is greater.
"Every year during the holiday season they have a big Christmas drive for homeless and low income children, where they buy toys and jackets and boots and it's huge, they pack our theater with stuff," said the theater's co- owner Dave Mitchell.
Over the past five years, the theater has raised about $15,000 for the homeless in Erie.
