Santa Visits Harborcreek

Santa didn't ride his sleigh into Harborcreek this morning when he stopped in the area to see the kids. Instead, he and Mrs. Claus arrived at Walmart on a fire truck.

He met with the boys and girls there on Saturday, as they told Santa what they wanted for Christmas. Along with seeing Old Saint Nick, people were also asked to donate toys. The Wesleyville Fire Department is collecting toys to help area kids have a happy holiday.

"Its just a great feeling that to know the whole community is participating in giving back to the children during the holiday season, those that otherwise wouldn't have anything," said Jackie Twaroski of Wesleyville.

The toy drive goes throughout the week. You can donate at the Walmart in Harborcreek. Santa will be back again, December 1 and 2.
