The snow on Sunday morning caused some havoc on the roads in Crawford County.
The intersection of Rt. 198 and Cox Road in Guys Mills saw cars slide off the roads due to the conditions. Crews were called out to the scene around 9:45 AM.
When they arrived, five vehicles were off the road and had to be pulled out of ditches. It took them two hours to get all the vehicles back on the road, and the area was shut down for a period of time.
Assistant Chief at Department 9 in East Mead Township Dan Bollis tells us this particular area gets dangerous when the snow starts to fall because the hills. He urges to people to drive slow in the area during these winter months.
Fortunately, though, no one was injured in any of the accidents.
