The snow this weekend was a welcome for those heading out for opening day of deer season on Monday.
The Erie Sports Store was packed with people on Sunday, coming in to get their last minute stock ups for deer season. Hunters we spoke with say they've been prepping all week, some even longer. But they were shopping Sunday, to make sure they didn't forget anything.
"Of course your sense soaps, last minute batteries, radios, things like that that you need," said Sylvia Gordon of Erie. "Make sure you have all your orange and all your other gear and everything."
"I've been hunting for years but you always pick up last minute things you might need. A new deer dragger, or you know, some hand and foot warmers, some snacks for out in the woods, things like that," said Mark Bessetti of North East.
