Erie Man Charged With Baseball Bat Assault on Woman

An Erie man is facing charges, after police say he hit a woman in the face, with a baseball bat.

He's identified as 32 year old Willie Blanks II.
The assault happened at a home in the 900 block of west 23rd street in Erie, around 1 a.m. Sunday.
Investigators say the woman suffered extensive injuries to her face.
Blanks is facing charges including aggravated assault.
He's behind bars on $20,000 dollars bond.
