Construction of the new Summit Township Municipal Building is now a week or two ahead of schedule.
The lack of snow has been a big help to crews putting up the building on two acres of township property along Townhall Road.
The $5.5 million complex is scheduled to open in early June.
Workers moved out of the old building because of a serious mold problem. They have been working in a leased building along Route 97 for the past year.
The new complex will be 23,000 square feet, much larger than the old township building.
