TOLEDO, Ohio -
November has closed as our fourth consecutive colder-than-average month in Toledo. August, September, October and November have all featured below-normal temperatures, sharply contrasting with the hotter-than-average spring and early summer.
In November, temperatures ran 2.4° below normal. Our coldest was back in the early part of the month, when Toledo bottomed out at 20° on the morning of Election Day.
The unusually dry weather has continued as well. November was our third consecutive drier-than-average month in Toledo. Our grand total rainfall for last month was a measly 0.99", which is 1.87" below normal. 0.79" fell on November 12th, leaving only 0.20" for the other 29 days of the month.
Running hand-in-hand with the dry weather, we didn't have many opportunities for snow, despite the abundant cold air. Toledo only recorded a Trace of snow in November. Our average November snowfall is 1.9".
