The SeaWolves are helping kids this holiday season with their annual toy drive on Saturday. With help from the Marines, the SeaWolves were collecting donations for Toys for Tots.
C Wolf was even on hand for the toy drive. Their goal was to stuff a seven ton truck full of toys. Those from the team say this toy drive is a great way to build some excitement before Spring Training, and help out the kids in the area.
"We're very involved in the community, we do a lot throughout the year," said SeaWolves Assistant General Manager Gania. "Nobody's thinking of baseball right now and its a nice way for us to maybe think baseball this time of year when its cold, and its a nice way to give back to the community."
The SeaWolves have been collecting for Toys for Tots for five years now.
