An area grocery store is looking to help put food on the table for those in need this Christmas. Tops Market is teaming up with the Second Harvest Food Bank,
once again for this years "Food for Families" food drive.
Last year, they raised enough food to provide 16,000 meals. This year, they are looking to collect even more with their "Little Brown Bag of Hope," which are already packed with food.
Organizers say its important to remember to give back this time of year.
"Its a challenging time of the year for families, and they're forced to make a decision between putting food on the table and buying a gift for their child at Christmas. And at the Second Harvest Food Bank, we're able help with that decision and we can provide that food for them, for the holiday season," said Samantha Sherwin with Second Harvest Food Bank.
You can continue to donate throughout the week at the area Tops.
