Millcreek Police tonight are investigating a threat at Walnut Creek Middle School.
Nothing happened. But the person responsible could face serious charges.
A student found the written threat in the stall of a girls bathroom early this morning. It theatened violence. Parents were notified. And security beefed up. But nothing happened. And classes continued uninterrupted.
The threat was similar to a threat investigated earlier this year that resulted in an arrest.
Millcreek Police Lt. Bill Detisch said, "Because of a prior incident last spring that a very, very similr threat was written, we just don't know if i was a copy-cat and had some credibility to it. Officers and school oficials treated it as credible ad we are still investigating it at this time."
The note threatened violence "tomorrow." But police think it was probably written early today.
