TOLEDO, Ohio -
As we near the holidays we are still snow free across the area. Other than a few snow showers on Monday evening, the area is expected to stay snow free over the next week. The weather pattern becomes more favorable for snow between December 15th and the 26th. The cold air that has been bottled up in Canada will drift south and the pattern will become active which gives us an above normal chance for precipitation. Historically, Toledo has a 57% chance of a white Christmas. At this point it is tough to predict if we will have a coat of white on the ground Christmas morning, but all signs are suggesting that 57% chance may be a good bet for this season as well. So another words, the odds are a little better than a coin flip at this stage in the game.
