Truck Slams Three Erie Homes - WICU12/WSEE Erie, PA News, Sports, Weather and Events

Neighbors living on East 11th Street woke up to damaged homes from an early morning accident, and it was caught on tape.

Around 5:00 Sunday morning, a truck reportedly crashed into a home, and video from a neighbor's security cameras showed the accident as it happened, and the aftermath.

That same truck then continued on to hit two other houses, jilting the foundation of one.

The accident happened between Ash and Wallace Streets, on East 11th.

"I heard it, I thought it's a garbage truck, but I still went outside and checked it," said Alex Palkhouski, a neighbor and owner of the security cameras. "I saw the truck hit the house, so I called 911 right away."

One person was sent to UPMC Hamot, but information is not available on the person's condition at this time.
