
It could be nearly a year before we know if the voter I.D. law will stand. That's the word Thursday coming from a Commonwealth court judge in Harrisburg.
The law requires all voters to show a form of identification at the polls.
Back in October, Judge Robert Simpson agreed to temporarily block the law from going into effect. The injunction is expected to be upheld through the May primaries.
The judge said he wants to make a final decision on the voter I.D. law by August of next year.
