City Mission Turns to Radio to Help Less Fortunate

The Erie City Mission hit the airwaves Thursday to raise money for Erie's less fortunate.

The City Mission has teamed up with Country 98 WXTA at the Millcreek Mall for a 15-hour radio-thon.

During the event, G.E. Transportation Systems will match every donation up to $25,000. All of the money raised will help local families living in poverty. Every $100 raised helps feed 80 people.

The radio-thon runs until 9 p.m. Thursday. Donations can be made by calling 814-864-4673.
