Crews were busy today unloading the newest ride at Waldameer Amusement Park. Three trucks arrived at the park, with pieces of the Music Express ride.
It's a 60 seat ride that goes up, down, forward and backward. Workers will put it together in the next week, close to the center of the park.
And 2013 season pass holders will not have to wait until next season to check it out. They will get a chance to take a free spin a week from Saturday.
Waldameer Owner Paul Nelson said, "Well Santa Claus came early, and we are going to have it ready to open on Saturday December 22. All the people who have season passes already purchased we are going to give them two tickets to ride it. The can bring a friend and get some hot chocolate."
In the next few years, Waldameer plans several major projects including expanding the water park and replacing a large pavillion with a restaurant.
