The Cathedral Prep football team received a warm welcome home after a perfect season that ended with the Ramblers capturing the state title.  The victorious team was escorted into town with sirens and welcomed by cheering supporters at the Prep Events Center on West 12th Street.  The Ramblers capped off an undefeated season Friday, defeating Archbishop Wood 24 - 14. 

A tired but happy head coach, Mike Mischler said, "I'm really thankful for our Erie fan base and their support and I'm proud of these kids, they played their hearts out, and I'm proud of my coaching staff, they all deserve everything that's coming their way."

The last time the Ramblers brought home the state title was in 2000.
