Shots Fired In East Erie Neighborhood

Erie police responded to a call for gun shots fired Saturday night on the city's east side.  The reports came from the area of 18th and Reed streets just before 7:00 PM.  Police believe two men were shooting at a third person. An emergycare ambulance staged nearby, but police did not find a victim.

Officers searched the area and found one shell casing from a 22 caliber weapon. The investigation is ongoing.
