Update: Driver Charged with D.U.I. Following Chain Reaction Crash

Update: An Illinois man facing charges Monday following a five-car pile-up near the Millcreek Mall Sunday night. Nobody was seriously hurt.

The Illinois driver faces D.U.I. charges. So far, police have not released his name

 

 

Rescuers responded to a five-car pileup near the Millcreek Mall Sunday night.  It happened a little after 7:00 PM at Peach and Interchange Road. One of the vehicles involved was a van from the Barber National Institute with several people inside.  Kearsarge volunteers and assisting fire departments transported eight patients to local hospitals.

Fire Chief Tedd Duncan says the patients were not seriously hurt.  Care givers for the Barber center clients accompanied them to the hospital too to make sure they were okay.
