Wrapping Presents for Seniors

Some senior citizens will get a special visit from Santa, thanks to Home Instead Senior Care, and generous people around Erie.  Volunteer helpers are busy wrapping those gifts.

People took name tags from trees placed in Nautilus, K-mart, Best Fitness and Real Training and Fitness. Then they purchased Christmas gifts for senior citizens in need. It's a banner year for giving, 217 gifts showed up under the tree.

Project coordinator, Darcy Rees has been picking up gifts by the carload at those locations.  She said, "I just want to say thank you, people have been so generous in supporting this program."

Every gift will be delivered personally to seniors who may be alone or in need. If you know someone who needs a gift, call home instead senior care.
