Erie Gay News Celebrates Milestone Anniversary

Erie Gay News is celebrating a milestone this year. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the group.

They have been distributing their publication once a month since 1992. On Tuesday they were celebrating the event during their folding party.

The publication is a way for people to connect and be informed about what's going on in the area. Those there say they've seen a tremendous amount of support throughout these past 20 years.

"It is amazing how much things have changed and we look forward to more growth," said Co-Editor of Erie Gay News Mike Mahler. "We're proud of the number of groups that are active in our community and we're very happy to keep people informed on what's happening."

 

Mahler says the group looks forward to the next 20 years.
