Urbaniak's Extends Hours to Meet Demand

A local butcher shop is open extra hours, to help with your last minute preps for holiday meals.

It was rare to find Urbaniak Brothers meat market in Erie open on a Sunday, but business was in full swing to make sure no one goes without their favorite steaks, roasts and sausages.

They decided to stay open to stack up against big name competitors.

"We need to compete with the big box stores and they're open every day all day long, so we have to be convenient for our customers," said co-owner Gerry Urbaniak. 

Urbaniak's will be open Christmas Eve until 3:00 p.m.
