Millcreek Supervisors gave the official okay to next year's budget.
They met Wednesday morning to vote on the 2013 spending plan.
There is some good news for taxpayers: The budget does not include a tax hike. Last year, Millcreek Supervisors raised taxes by half-a-mill. That's the first increase in 10 years. However, this year, the millage rate will drop from 2.95 to 2.55, and the budget holds the line on taxes.
Supervisors say that was partially thanks to the money that was saved from last year's mild winter.
Projects on the drawing board for the township include improvements to a couple of the township's parks and building handicapped-accessible curb cuts.
