Posted: Updated:

Morgan Cox, a Junior at Whitmer High School, has been selected to perform with the All Star Invitational Marching Band at the BCS Championship Game.

The All Star Band is composed of high school students from around the country that have been recommended by their school music directors.

Morgan has been a member of the Whitmer High School marching band during his first three years at Whitmer and has performed for several other concerts and performances at Whitmer. While he normally plays the snare drum in marching band Morgan will be performing on the quads (tenor drums) at the BCS game.

Morgan hopes one day to be a music director for a high school band. Morgan will be touring Europe this summer with the Ohio Ambassadors of Music.
