Trucks Slams into Utility Pole, Slick Roads Not to Blame

Slippery road conditions had nothing to do with an accident on Glenwood Park Avenue in Erie Thursday afternoon.

Road conditions were good when a pickup truck veered off the road and slammed into a utility pole near Norman Way. The accident occurred shortly after noon.

The driver was not injured, but traffic was blocked until the pole could be secured.

It is unknown why the driver lost control.
