98-yr-old woman killed & her 79-yr-old daughter injured in crash

A 79-year-old woman was injured and her 98-year-old mother was killed in a car crash in Ash Township, Michigan on Saturday afternoon.

The accident happened on Calkins Road near Carleton-Rockwood Road.

Police say 79-year-old Ida Guyor was driving on Calkins when she lost control of her mini-van at a cruve in the road. The car went into a ditch and rolled onto its side against a utility pole.

Guyor's 98-year-old mother Alice Stark was pronounced dead at the scene. Guyor was taken to a hospital where she's reported in stable condition.
