Despite the cold finish, Toledo will log its 4th warmest year ever. The average temperature comes out to 53.1 degrees. That number is calculated by adding every high and low temperature through the year and averaging them out. The normal temperature for an entire year comes out close to 49 degrees. This record was set back in 1921 and 1931. During those years the average temperature was 53.6 degrees. The temperature was 53.3 degrees in 1998, and 52.3 degrees in 2002.
