Horses disappear from Fulton County Fairgrounds

Fulton County Sheriff's deputies could have some horse thieves on their hands. They are investigating the disappearance of three horses from a barn at the Fulton county Fairgrounds in Wauseon.

Police say the horses were reported missing Saturday morning. One of the horse owners said both ends of the barn were closed. The animals were last seen around 5 p.m. Friday during feeding time. She believes the horses were stolen.

According to our media partner the Toledo Blade, the horses are standardbreds named Oat Matt Donald, New Moon and Shorty B.
