Fire destroys Grand Rapids home

Fire destroyed a house early Sunday morning in Grand Rapids.

Crews responded around 5 a.m. to a home on Providence Neapolis Swanton Road. It appears the fire started in the basement.

The homeowner was able to escape and their were no injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
