Police Look for Hit and Run Driver

Erie police are looking for the driver who hit a pedestrian Sunday morning and left the scene. The accident happened at East 26th and Wayne Street about 7:10 AM.

Police say a woman was walking in the street, because the sidewalk was snowy, when she was hit by a white Dodge Caravan. Rescuers transported the woman to UPMC Hamot.  Police did not release the woman's name and said they believe her injuries are not life threatening.
