Divers Prepare to Take Plunge

The Erie Skin Divers will be make their annual New Year's Day scuba dive at Dobbins Landing. They'll be fully prepared to take the plunge into Presque Isle Bay, with wet suits and safety equipment. The group will meet at 9:00 AM and is expected to jump into the icy water at about 9:15 AM on January 1.  If ice has formed on the bay, they will have to cut a hole in it before making the annual jump, and that could take a little bit of extra time.
