Stolen truck crash backs up I-75 traffic

A one-vehicle accident closed down Southbound I-75 near milepost 177 on Monday morning for nearly 45 minutes.

A stolen pick-up truck went off the road and hit some trees. Christopher Harless, 22, of Findlay was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated using the Jaws of Life. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.

Mr. Harless was taken by air ambulance to Mercy St. V's Medical Center with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Law enforcement says he was not being cooperative.
