Lights Before Christmas "encore" weekend

You have one last chance to the million lights at the Toledo Zoo this year.

The Zoo is offering an "encore" presentation of The Lights Before Christmas this weekend. Visitors can enjoy the twinkling lights and the zoo's Winter Playland Activities Friday January 4 and Saturday January 5 from 3 to 9 p.m.

Admission is $12 for adults and $9 for kids aged two to eleven. Kids under the age of two get in free.

    Two Toledo firefighters suffered minor Monday morning after a fire in West Toledo. It happened in the 3600 block of Berkerly near Berdan.
    2 Toledo firefighters were treated for minor injuries following a fire in West Toledo.  It happened in the 3600 Block of Berdan on Monday.  One was treated for a minor burn and the other for heat exhaustion.  Both have now returned to duty.

    A twister ripped through the Lake Township area almost three years ago. The community is pretty much back to normal, but residents still remember the horror that hit their neighborhood in 2010.
