The first baby of the new year was born at Saint Vincent Health Center, very early in the morning.
She's little Sabrina Hess.
She was born at 1:33 a.m. on January 1st, to Audrey and Peter Hess of North East.
Sabrina surprised her family, arriving three weeks early, but she weighs a healthy five pounds, thirteen ounces.
She's coming into a big family.
"She's number five. I never expected to have a baby on New Year's Day... not the first one." Said mother, Audrey Hess.
Congratulations to the Hess family!
There was just one other baby born this New Year's Day, another baby girl at St. Vincent to Alex and Andrea Moffett. They named their new daughter, Alauna.
A big congratulations to the Moffett family as well!
