Unemployment Drops During the Holiday Season

Good unemployment news for Erie county.

The county's unemployment rate is down for the first time in 8 months. It dropped from 7.8% to 7.6%.

Crawford county's unemployment also decreased from 7.6% to 7.5%.

Analysts say it's because stores and restaurants hired more workers during the holidays.
