Recycling Center Collects Trees

A local recycling center offered a better alternative to leaving your Christmas Tree out with the trash.

For almost two decades Millfair compost and recycling center has been collecting Christmas Trees the weekend after the new year.

Anyone could drop off their tree on Saturday, to be made into mulch.

There are a couple reasons why next year, you should consider making the short drive to the center to dispose of your tree.

It reduces landfill waste, as they fill up, and it's a safer alternative to burning your tree.

The recycling center also took donations for the Emmaus Soup Kitchen.
