It's become a tradition. Local firefighters and law enforcement officers put on their skates for the 3rd annual Guns and Hoses charity hockey game. This years event benefits the Make a Wish foundation of NW PA. "Obviously anytime you can help kids whether you're a public servant or whomever, it's a good thing," said Millcreek Det.. Sgt. Rick Skonieczka. "Hopefully we can make this a profitable event."
Tickets were $10.00 per person and after the charity game, supporters were able to take in the Erie Otters game as well. Although everyone skated well, Skonieczka said the police "Guns" won the game for the second straight year. The score was 4-3.
