CeaseFire PA Plans Strategy Session in Erie

A group called "CeaseFire PA" plans a community information and strategy session on ways to end gun violence and the trafficking of illegal firearms.   The event is called, "Gun Violence is Killing our Communities."  The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 9, from 5:30-7:00 PM at the Jefferson Educational Society. They're inviting residents, students, community and faith leaders to work together on a solution.

According to their website, CeaseFire PA is a statewide coalition of survivors and citizens who are dedicated to taking a stand against gun violence.   The group also plans a "Day of Action," January 23 at 12:00 noon.  You can learn more at ceasefirepa.org.
