Pennsylvania received a "C" rating in mental health. That's according to a USA Today report published Tuesday.
It's one of 24 states with grades above a national average of a "D."
The study is based on a variety of criteria, including financing for treatment and services, access to mental health information and programs, and collaboration among other agencies.
The rating comes at a time when local budget cuts have reduced mental health funding by $1.3 million, or 8%.
