A Warren county man accused of murder will head to trial.
During a preliminary hearing Tuesday, a judge ruled 52-year-old Randy Poole will be bound over for trial.
He is accused of shooting and killing 56-year-old Kathleen Sweeney in her home on Davey Hill Road in Deerfield Township.
Back in December, police responded to a call of an intruder at the home. That is when they found Sweeney's body.
According to investigators, Poole crashed his car during a chase with police before he took off on foot. Police eventually found him.
He now faces several charges including homicide and burglary.
His arraignment has been scheduled for January 31st.
