Kelly Urges Students Not to Give Up on American Politics

3rd District Representative Mike Kelly spoke to Cathedral Prep students on Wednesday, urging them stay positive about America despite reports of discourse in Washington.

"Yes, we're divided" Kelly told us, "but we need leaders who will bring us together."

Kelly also answered questions from the students and it was obvious that the recent shootings at Sandy Hook remain a top concern.

"I was just wondering what your stance on gun control is?" one student asked.

Other questions had to do with the economy and Kelly's willingness to meet other high school students with opinions on what is happening in America.

Kelly was introduced to the students by Erie County Common Pleas Judge John Trucilla, a Prep alumnus.
