Prosecutors Awaiting Gun Evidence In Shooting Case

An Erie man, accused of shooting a woman several times last Summer, was in court Thursday.

22 year old Dionn Amison is facing several charges, including attempted homicide.

He was set to go to trial this month, but it was delayed Thursday.

Prosecutors are waiting for more test results on evidence.
Police are trying to match ammunition found at the scene, to the gun they recovered where Amison was living.

Police say Amison opened fire outside a downtown Erie nightclub, back on May 13th.
He allegedly shot a woman several times.

Police had originally charged him with shooting 2 people, but charges against one of the victims was dropped, because they didn't show up to testify at his preliminary hearing.

Amison is now set to go to trial sometime this Spring.
