Erie Man Wanted In Connection With Crime Ring Arrested

Yet another suspect, wanted in connection with a burglary and robbery ring dating back several years, is in police custody.

Around 7:45 Thursday night, Erie police picked up 25 year old Chris Barnes.

There was a warrant out for his arrest, on charges in connection with a group dubbed the Stick Up Kidz.

Police have tied at least 18 people to the group, charging them with various crimes.

Police say it was a corrupt organization that committed numerous robberies and burglaries over the past 3 years, profiting from the stolen goods.

Barnes was considered armed and dangerous, police arrested him Thursday evening on Erie's east side.

Meantime, police are still on the lookout for another man, also considered armed and dangerous.

He's 22 year old Julian Mickel.
