Kwame Kilpatrick ordered to wear electronic tether

Michigan prison officials ordered former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick to wear an electronic tether and live with his mom for the time being.

That's because they're investigating a 2-thousand dollar wire transfer Kilpatrick accepted from a Chicago pastor - but never reported.

Kilpatrick owes 800-thousand dollars in restitution payments to the Motor City and is supposed to report his income.

He is currently on trial for federal corruption charges.
