Two local organizations are helping a critically-injured Erie resident give back to the community.
Candy Bouquet and a local insurance agency are selling 9-inch pie candles for $19.99. $5 will go to Erie's Crime Victim Center in honor of Halley Briglia.
She's a local woman that was robbed and shot in the face while working in Saint Louis. Briglia is currently recovering but faces an excessive amount of medical bills.
Her friends and family are held a benefit in December to help her out. The candle sale is helping her give back for their help.
The deadline to place orders is January 29th. You can call Candy Bouquet at 814-459-4438 or stop in the store at 1750 West 8th Street, across from Harding School, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. R.H. Rutkowski Insurance will also be accepting orders by phone at 814-870-3131.
